Looking forward to: Washing all of my little mans clothes & putting his nursery together for him <3
First I want to apologize for my epic failure of belly pictures. I didn't do any of my standard weekly pictures :'( This week is insane with my new work schedule and lack of time. My last night on the ambulance was awful. I was so bummed. I had 24 jam packed hours off & now I'm back to the grind on day shift doing bi$@& work. Not an easy task for my body. I have been on nights by choice for 6 years! Days is not my favorite! I honestly feel super heartbroken to not be working on a rig. But it's all for my little man.
Now for serious talk. Eric & I had another ultrasound with our amazing high risk doctor on Wednesday. I was officially diagnosed with placenta previa. (The placenta is covering the cervical opening) We are still unsure if it is partial or complete, but my Dr was definitely a little bummed. :( He told us that after 20 weeks it is unlikely for the previa to correct itself & that I need to plan on having a c-section around 38 weeks. Of course my poor husband is terrified. Poor guy is always having to take care of my crazy medical issues. But for now, we pray & wait! I am very hopeful that the placenta previa will correct itself & I can have a normal delivery. Thankfully I trust my Dr very much & I know he will take great care of me no matter what happens. We go back May 27th for another ultrasound to check for changes.
On a happy note, WE LEAVE FOR HAWAII MONDAY!!!!!
