WEEKS 21 & 22
My daily belly in Hawaii! Watch that baby grow!
But before you do... I want to apologize for the delay in blog posts. Not only was vacation crazy busy, but I started day shift at work (7am-7pm), AND Eric got the dreaded call to the San Diego Fires on a strike team. Thank god he's back in Roseville, but still at work. :( It's been a week & wednesday can't get here fast enough!
How far along: 21 & 22 weeks :)
Gender: Baby Boy Cal
Weight gain: 9 lbs gained. At 126lbs.
Maternity clothes: Nope! Thank you for all the support with this though. I promise I'll buy some eventually when they fit better & aren't so expensive. For now I went to target & bought size 7, SEVEN, shorts! o_O At least they were only $15.00.
Stretch marks: Nope. Trying really hard to use lotions & oils daily even though I hate it!
Belly button in or out: Innie, please stay forever.
Sleep: Sleep is still great but I wake up SO sore throughout the night. Hips, legs, calf cramps. SOOO painful!
Best moment this week: Hawaii was unbelieveable!!! Spending time with Eric & our friends was beyond priceless. I couldn't love them more.
Miss anything: Not drinking & surfing with everyone in Hawaii SUCKED!
Movement: So much movement! I can feel his little body in my belly now. He moved across my hand for the first time & I almost died! Crazy feeling! Brian & Ashley finally got to feel him kick & we all watched him kick from the outside too!
Cravings: Coffee!!! There's not enough in the world.
Queasy or sick: No sickness that I can think of thankfully!
Symptoms: Full belly! It feels uncomfortably full daily. Like I are thanksgiving dinner for every meal...Not the best! I also have horrific lower left rib pain after I eat. Clearly there is no room left in my abdomen already. Awesome! I also have some of those "the things no one tells you" symptoms that I promise I'll tell all in my "Good, bad & ugly" post I am working on.
Looking forward to: Ordering nursery furniture & working on his nursery!
FEARS: <- New category since being pregnant is freaking scary! So this week I have been scared & guilty for being so active in Hawaii & trying to eat right. So many rules with fish & exercise, I worried that I was keeping my little man safe. We all had heart attacks the second day waiting for him to move. Took until midnight to finally feel him & feel relieved!
Eric & I were blessed with the most amazing vacation ever imagined! We went with our best friend/brother Brian & his girlfriend Ashley. We stayed in Kaanapali, Hawaii at the Aston Whaler Hotel on Black Rock Beach. We were also reunited with Eric's Uncle Andre and Aunt Laurie! They live on Maui & it was incredible to catch up after almost 10 years apart!

Couldn't be any more beautiful...
We spent every day in the ocean, surfing, body boarding, snorkeling, eating amazing food, staying up late, and waking up early. A luau, an engraved axe for Cal's nursery, a jet boat trip with dolphins & a whale, & an early dinner for Eric's birthday. Our only regret was not staying longer...
